What type of materials can awnings be made of?

We custom manufacture our awnings using canvas, vinyl, and metal. With advancements in awning technology, we frequently use acrylic canvas materials and high-performance vinyls that have long term warranties. These materials are mildew and fade resistant. Fabric awnings are comparable in durability to metal but are more cost-effective.

What about the upkeep?

Most of our awnings have welded aluminum frames to withstand wind and snow loads and they require little maintenance. Simply spraying your fabric awnings with water every year to get the dirt off can increase the longevity of your awning fabric.

Do you make standard sizes or can I get an awning in the size I want?

Our custom awnings are made to order and the sizing is based on building characteristics and customer preferences. Customize it even further by choosing from numerous valance styles and hundreds of fabric colors.

What awnings work best for my deck or patio?

We install many different types of patio awnings depending on customer preference and budget. The awnings can be canvas, vinyl, or metal. Some options, like our patio covers, can be insulated to keep the space below cool and are strong enough to be walked on (but we don’t recommend this).

What about retractable awnings? Are they a good option for me?

Retractable awnings are very versatile and can be a great option for decks and patios. They provide shade when wanted and can be retracted when not in use. We offer retractable awnings with adjustable slopes and motorized operation.
